I have heard this topic mooted before but what do people think about team selection Question

.Do you think it would benefit the Island squad performance if triples for Brean were selected by maybe a panel of senior players Question

.Or would this alienate people who want to play within their own team. Question

After this weekend I would say there would still be a case for both circumstances to be considered, selection may boost the islands chances for survival in the first division, however this may not sit well with some players and therefore we could end up losing some. I personally still think that qualification is the best, however nearer the time would be better for the island as the in form teams would qualify, although this does not give people enough time to obtain time off from work and raise money to fund there trip; each option has both there pro's and there con's.

So now we've had the qualifiers and got our twelve teams, does anyone have any more thoughts on selection ????? Rolling Eyes

Yep - go back to a triples grand prix competition series to get the most consistent teams over a season and get the best teams qualifying
